Are We Growing In Relationship with God? Or Are We Just Making Coffee?

The issue with our religious traditions and routines is – we often rely on those, after they have become habits – as the only thing we are doing to represent our closeness with God. It is like understanding that a cup of coffee in the morning does not substitute for the love and growth in a close relationship.

The spiritual truths don't just attach by tacking them on.
